Streets of Blood
Genre:  Crime/Drama/Thriller
Runtime: 95mins
Rating: R
Entertainment Score: 5/10.
Tech Score: 5.4/10.
IMDB Score: 4.5/10.   (1,000+ votes)

Summary from IMDB: A police officer's partner has died during Hurricane Katrina, but he later discovers that his partner may have been murdered. An investigation follows, taking the officer and his new partner into the depths of the criminal underworld.

From me: This movie is so very avg. Only a few things stick out and they are not good things. I feel that is movie was more or less just one big commercial for 50 Cent items.

Audio: 9/10. Little to loud in places. Other than that a fitting soundtrack.

Visuals: 5/10. New Orleans after Katrina. Need I say more?

Writing: 5/10. Yawn! This is a story you have seen time and time again. Dirty cop vs Rat cop who have a bond.

Acting: 5/10. With Val Kilmer you would think that the acting would have a much better score but it doesn't. I think why is because Val just want's into the role, he knew it was shitty movie and felt his acting should not be top notch. Then you have Sharon Stone who has this accent that is just bad you will be wondering what it is every time she speaks. Finally you have 50 Cent. 50 isn't bad nor is he good. He  just is.

Dir/Ed: 3/10. I have no clue why they so many diff angles for few of the scenes. I felt that the cam and or the dir were new to the game and did not storyboard this movie at all. The neat thing was that when there were flashbacks the would go a redish-green kind of like in some RPGs when you get poisioned. One of the things that really pissed me off is was they took a snap shot of just a random event and focused on an item in the shot as if it was important, and guess what IT WASN'T!! And finally as the credits role it goes black and white.... WTF ? The dir and editor need to get more exp before they do their next big time flick.

Bottom line: If you're bored and can't find anything else to do watch this on tv.
