From me: By def this is a full length film since it's two minutes longer than a short. So by that all tv shows that are 60mins with brakes are full length and that just pisses me off. Full length films should be no less than 65mins. Ok now that I got that out of the way I guess I should talk about the movie itself. Well it was well done but a few things bugged me about it and we will get there soon enough.l Audio: 7/10. This was an area that bugged me a bit. The reason being is that some of the people talked so soft it's hard to hear what they are saying while others are talking a bit to long. Other than that the levels were just fine. The music was ok. It was all original stuff so that's cool. Visuals: 7/10. For an indie movie and well even main stream movies the cg in this was great. Cg and reality meshed so well it was hard to tell that it was cg in some areas. The make up on the human alien was nice and not some rip off from Star Trek or Star Wars. What I hated was the lighting in the movie. When it was dark it was DARK and hard to make out who was who. That killed the fight between the two chicks. Writing: 5/10. I can't really give this area more than a five just for the fact that it was hard to hear some of the lines. What I can say about this is that when the movie ends you are left with more questions than answers. Also this movie doesn't brake any new ground in the world of Sci-Fi Acting: 8/10. The levels of the lines spoken lessen the score in this area. With that aside when you can hear everything the acting is really well done. Nothing feels forced, everyone works well with each other. I would like to see some of them in more movies. Movies that are longer to show case just what they can do. Dir/Ed: 5/10. With the expectation of the dir missing the poor lighting and not noticing the actors were speaking to soft or to loud it's a pretty well directed flick. The editing was good as well. The fight scene when the lighting wasn't crap everything flowed very well and the angles used were just right. Bottom line: It's a good thing that the dvd has a gag reel, behind the scenes along with cast and crew commentary that makes picking up this movie worth about 7 bucks. The movie itself is just 42mins long after all. I have to say that this movie is way better than a lot of indie flicks I have seen.
