TheBuck: This week in tv: Garys and Dollhouse Print E-mail
Greys Anatomy- A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.
Well that was a hell of a summary that Imdb gave. It is 90% dead on. The thing is the five surgical interns they speak of are no longer interns instead they are residents and have been for the last few years. In real life an inter is only one for one year. Since this is a show the year was pulled a little. Plus one of the interns is dead. More on that in a bit.
What i like about this show is that it's a nice mix of medicine and real life (as real as real life gets on tv). Plus the writer/creator is not afraid to mix things up,however, sometimes she does not have much of a choice. The things I have heard about the people on that show. Man talk about drama.

So the 6th season the premier aired 9/24/09. It ended with something I did not see coming and started with something that I knew was going to happen but still did not want to occur;that being the death of O'Malley. At the end of last season two of the residents were very very badly hurt. One had cancer. The other hit by a bus. O'Malley was the one who was hit by the bus. Izzie who is played by Katherine Heigl had cancer. It was up in the air if they both would return or not... fucking drama. Well T.R Knight who use to play O'Malley decided to leave. I think it was becuase he couldn't deal with people knowing he enjoys the cock ( really he's gay in real life). I say who the fuck cares don't let haters bug you. While Heigl who needs to be fucked so cruelly and with such unparalleled savagery she would no longer be a bitch. She would just be a  quivering form of flesh and gratitude, somehow manged to stay on the show even after all the cunty things that have been said about her and her work ethic, was saved. God damn I really can't stand her on the show. So the ep was all abotu deal with O'Malleys death and the Chef possibly getting shit canned.
The real interesting thing about this ep was the voice over(s) at the end. I can not reall in any of the past eps where anyone but the main char of the show did the ending voice over. In this ep all the main chars of the show did the ending voice over. I hope wonder and hope that means the foucs of the show is now going to be more wide spread. I think it will just because of what was said near the end of the ep. This season should be good.
If you want to start watching the show I think you can pretty much jump on at any point. You will just be a bit lost when chars talk about other chars who are no longer on the show. No biggie.

Dollhouse- A futuristic laboratory assigns different tasks to its various residents, who then have their memories erased upon the completion of their assignments.
The show is written and created by Joss Whedon who is best known to most as the dude who did Buffy the Vampire Slayer,Angel, and Firefly. He is also a comic book writer. Besides the shows that are in bold which he has done comics for he has also done one of the best Astonishing X-Men runs in the books history. He also did an issue of Superman/Batman. Now his writing style is slow but when it hits max it is freaking sweet. So yes this show is slow but get's real good and he know's how to tie things from past show into things in current shows very well.

The 2nd season permier aired 9/25/09. A big sigh came from me when I was watching this ep because like always a slow build. Echo who is the main char of the show is on an assignment for the guy who is trying to get her out of the dollhouse. She starts to have flashes of what she has been and who she really is. These are very fast and don't have any impact on the story...least for this ep. At the very end she recalls things that she has done and wants to remember who she is and try and stop this from happening to other people.
The show is going in a really good direction, all be it slow. I see Echo remembering who she is 100% and becomes the Omega. This will most likely take up 3/4ths the season but when it does happen I feel the show will be very action packed.
If you want to watch you better start soon. Once the story gets rolling it's going to be hard to follow. Netflick season 1 and be all caught up. Season 1 is only 13 eps. 12 of those eps aired on tv. Thank Fox for that.
