From writer-director Matthew A. Peters, and Mad Angel films, comes Seize the Day. Seize the day is about a man, Ray Stevenson (James S. Cacciatore) who had dreams of changing the world, but through some poor decisions he made in his life he has lost everything. Frustrated and dying of cancer he blames one man for his misfortune, his business partner Jon Peterman (Jay E. Salsberg). To get revenge he storms his former office building and takes him hostage. At the same time throughout the city high power businessmen are getting knocked off one by one. And its up to a Cal (David J. Plescia) a rookie Detective and his veteran partner Burke (Jay Storey), to solve these murders and how they tie into the recent hostage situation. |  | Star-Cross'd
From writer-director Matthew A. Peters, and Mad Angel films, comes Star-Cross'd. Star-Cross'd is a modern love story that is old in nature. It's a tale of two lovers who have made a promise to meet again, defy fate, and change the stars to be together. Destiny though, has different plans. Gwen is a young school girl out to meet her true love, which she finds in Aiden, an assassin trying to escape his brothers shadow. Their families are at war to gain control over each others territory in a bitter mob rivalry. A plan of unification, put forth by Marcus, Aiden's brother, will enable him to become crime lord supreme and merge the two families. His proposal is marriage to the rival boss's daughter Gwen. Aiden is sent in to her high school to keep an eye on her. But when they meet, memories of a past life return and their love grows. What will happen when the deal falls through and Aiden has to kill the girl he loves? Will they find away to defy fate, change destiny and move the stars? From the twisted mind of Matt Peters comes Brackish, a tale of one man's selfish attempt to regain the past. Jake loses his fiancée Sarah to death and goes into a state of depression. His sister, Tila, and his friends, Chad, Brad, and Beth, try to help him out of it by taking him camping. The five of them decide to camp near a ghost town where Jake and Tila's family is from. The drive there is long, and on the way they meet many of the locals, primarily Collet, resident, Florence and Little Ray, mechanics by trade, and Sheriff Merlock, who keeps the law in those parts. The group is warned that traveling up there may not be safe (it is, after all, a ghost town that has seen many Adirondack winters). After arriving they explore the ghost town and Jake stumbles upon the house of his grandfather. While there, he finds a secret that his grandfather was trying to hide, a secret that could bring his fiancée back from the beyond. The price, though, is steep, and payable immediately. | |
